Self-service car wash
Controller for a self-service car wash bay
The payment and control node of one wash bay: it meters the time, runs the valves and the high-pressure pump, takes the money and reports every bay to an operator account. Supplied to the people who build and refit wash bays.

What the node runs
- Time and wash-programme tariffing, pause, and switch-on and switch-off delays for the actuators
- Valves, the high-pressure pump and the bypass, through a relay module
- A customer-facing LED matrix: time left, amount, status and the QR code
- Tariffs and settings are changed from the operator account, not at the bay

Payment
- QR payment works out of the box: the customer scans the code on the matrix and pays from the phone
- Cards and contactless go through a payment terminal — the one certified for your market. Boards already run with PAX IM20, Nexgo N62 and Ingenico OPEN/1500
- Bill and coin acceptors over bPOS light, ccTalk, CCNET and pulse
- Cash goes through the same system, so the reporting covers all the money on the bay and not only the cashless part

When the link drops
- The bay keeps running: time metering, valves, high-pressure pump and bypass, bills and coins
- Transactions are buffered locally and uploaded once the link is back, so the reports still add up
- QR, bank card and customer card need the provider online — that is why we recommend fitting acceptors even where the plan is cashless

Reporting and app
- Revenue per bay, the split between cash and cashless, equipment state and collection data — online
- Tariffs, discounts and staff access live in the same account
- The customer starts and pays for a bay from the phone; an app under your own brand is separate work, quoted per project

What is supplied
The controller board is the part we supply in batches. The rest of the bay node exists as well — tell us how far you want us to go and what you build yourself.

Questions we get first
Can it go on a bay that already exists?
That is the main scenario. The node connects to the bay you already have; the pumps, the chemistry and the plumbing stay where they are.
How many bays does one node serve?
One. A four-bay wash needs four nodes — worth counting into the budget early, because it changes the price per site, not per board.
Which payment terminal do we use?
Yours — the one certified and supported by an acquirer in your country. The board handles the bay and talks to the terminal; the card money goes through your own payment contract, not ours.
Can we sell the wash under our own brand?
Yes. The board and the app carry your name, and firmware changes are made by the engineers who wrote it. Terms depend on the volume.
What do you need from us to quote?
How many bays, what the bay has to run, how you want to take payment and which country the site is in. That is enough for a first answer with a board and a wiring outline instead of a list of questions.
