Who this is for

You run machines that cannot take cards

The mechanics still work; the electronics predate cashless payment and fiscal reporting. Replacing the controller is cheaper than replacing the machine, and it is the same afternoon's work per unit once the first one is done.

You build machines and need the board inside

MDB (Multi-Drop Bus) is the interface a vending machine controller uses to talk to its payment peripherals. This page explains the parts of it you need in order to attach a payment or fiscalization module to a machine.
